If you were to ask me, I would say that they may be releasing games on flash memory cards for those who want the physical copy.
Anyway Kain, it's not like you gotta get it if you already have a PSP. It is just a re-design. PSP Go is a good name considering it's smaller, compact, and really mean't for gaming on the go.
In my opinion there are currently two markets for handhelds: The first is what we have known for years. You have your console and you play it. You don't really take it with you out anywhere. You can, but it's a pain in the ass to carry around your Gameboy, Game Gear, PSP, DS, whatever. It's really handheld gaming from home more than anything, I think (if you're confused then think of it as nothing majorly different compared to a PS3, 360, or whatever). The second is this gaming on the go that the N-Gage tried to establish, but is now currently dominated by the iPhone. They're smaller devices that are easy to take with you to play. That's the market I think that the PSP Go is designed for. And in my opinion, that market is also made up of a lot of casual gamers. So if my idea on the two handheld markets didn't make sense, then you can swap in the now class hardcore vs casual gamer markets, because that really is what I am getting at.
