ELEVEN ARTS and FUNimation Entertainment have announced that the highly anticipated third installment of the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series, EVANGELION: 3.0 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO, is set for theatrical release in the U.S. and Canada in January of 2014.

SciFi Japan has posted the presskit for the upcoming North American theatrical release of EVANGELION: 3.0 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO.

No Illinois theaters, it looks like.

Oh, well. I will be sure to see it on home video, though I suspect it won't be quite the same.
