Yeah, I understand why everyone has caught onto TV so well... you can do so much with character and story in long form that you can't do in a movie. It really is a great format. I just don't have time to keep up with everything. I honestly don't understand some people I know that watch pretty much EVERY show... I don't know where they have the time.
The only shows I make sure to watch right now are the Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire... and I'm still a whole season behind on Boardwalk. I've been meaning to check out Game of Thrones, but at this point who knows when I'll get around to that. I watched a little bit of Sons of Anarchy (mostly for Henry Rollins) and thought it was pretty cool... but again, I just don't have the time to keep up with all this stuff... Everyone tells me I NEED to watch Dexter because I'd love it, but they are in like the eighth season or something! I mean, I can barely stay on top of my rapid movie and music consumption

That's why I like catching shows when they start... I'm pretty excited for that show that Sam Raimi and David Cronenberg are working on... I'll be watching that for sure... and I don't watch really any comedic TV at all... I thought Holliston on FearNet was really funny, but it was a tiny first season that just passed... I'll catch the odd South Park episode every now and then (and that show, I honestly feel is WAY beyond its best years). I've seen a little bit of Community and liked it, but it isn't something I've really followed.
Most of the actual TV I watch is documentary style stuff on Discovery, Nat Geo, etc. because I'm a big f*cking nerd.
