Maybe, just maybe, this time a studio will get Tarzan right.
Greystoke was a terrible Tarzan movie, it starts off okay but soon sets down a wildly divergent path from ERB's Tarzan book[s]. In some ways, the later Disney animated movie is more faithful than Greystoke - but even it diverges from ERB's book in several significant areas.
The book is fantastic, if you've never read I urge you to go out now and find a copy to read. It's amazing to see how little of the book survived into any of the big screen adaptations.
