Took a week, but I finally got to watch the season finale tonight. The first episode was good, esp. with how they destroyed the traffic network, but the second episode (aka the final one) was awesome. John had quite the eventful birthday, no? I liked the scene where Derek and John are in the park watching young Derek and young Kyle play, then John gets to meet his dad. Derek is a great character in general, and I was surprised that he used the little girl as bait to free John from that one guy who they thought had the Turk. I think the FBI raid was just nuts. We don't see the action, but rather just agent after agent being blown into the pool where they die to the tune of a Johnny Cash song. I was shocked to see Ellison spared by the Terminator. I also didn't see the last scene coming where the real owner of the Turk catches Cameron in a car bomb. Although it's pretty likely she's not gone.
In all, it was a good season but that stupid writers strike really robbed us of another 4 episodes. I really do hope another season is made because I definitely liked it when I didn't expect to at all. But I am a bit worried because apparently the ratings have been see-sawing between a low 6 and a mid 4 from what Wikipedia says... the pilot had 11 million check it out. But it is Fox and they rode the OC out for a few years even though I recall reading that the ratings for that crap show dropped drastically after season 1 or 2. So here's hoping for season 2 of the Terminator!
