    Korean FX Films HAEUNDAE and CHAW on Australian DVD

    Natural Disasters and Mutant Animals Terrify and Entertain Source: Madman Entertainment Two of the biggest box office hits in Korea last year were the mega-tsunami thriller HAEUNDAE and the killer wild boar horror/comedy CHAW. The Australian distributor Madman Entertainment has picked up both films and is releasing them on Region 4 PAL DVD. HAEUNDAE went on sale last month, and CHAW is scheduled for April. Neither movie has been released on home video in North America.

    HAEUNDAE

    There is no escape. Racing to Busan to alert the authorities, he meets his ex-wife and the daughter he never knew he had. Meanwhile two other couples are about to reach turning points in their relationships, when they see a massive wave coming towards them!     CHAW

    The Razorback is back - and he`s hungry. Korea`s answer to the AFI Award-winning Aussie B-grade classic RAZORBACK, CHAW is set in the picturesque and crime-free town of Sameri. That is, until the human body parts start showing up. A former hunter arrives claiming that the murder was not by a human but a man-eating boar called "Chaw". With the town now in a fearful state of siege, a team is thrown together to hunt down the killer boar: the master hunter, the too-cool city cop, the ecologist and the former hunter who is out for vengeance. As the bodycount rises, they must act before this hungry hog devours the entire town!
