^ That's a bummer that it's not doing as well as forecast. It's certainly an above-average comic book superhero movie and the fact that it's totally coming from a female perspective in its aesthetic makes it unique, and I know a few young women who are absolutely gaga over it and have talked about seeing it multiple times. I feel it will engender a healthy, long running fan base, but it just goes to show you that those huge box office numbers aren't created by having a certain audience absolutely love a film, they're caused by having the widest general appeal even if 99% of the people who see it just say "eh, it's alright."
