Yeah, jelly, most of the time (whether I actually agree with you or not) you put very level-headed, reasonable thought behind why you think a film is good or bad, but this seems very out of character for you. Condemning a movie based on unused concept art just seems silly. I can understand if you don't like Shin Godzilla (even though I personally really liked it), but surely there's a better, more logical reason to dislike it than, "I don't like the random blob with googly eyes in the concept art that had absolutely nothing to do with the final film."
As for some of these wild concept art ideas, I think they're pretty cool actually. It reminds me of the opening scene in Biollante where everyone's trying to collect the Godzilla cells; physical bits of Godzilla knocked, blasted, or torn off during his rampage and fight with super x. Except these concepts take that and run with the idea of uncontrolled nuclear-spawned mutation running amok within those damaged bits left behind. And they mutate into more monsters that humanity has to deal with. This really is probably the most truly horrific interpretations of Godzilla we've ever seen. And it's incredibly interesting.
