anyway, back on topic...
i HOPE this is true...i love these movies just as much as everyone here, but this would be HILARIOUS to see and i guarantee there would be a solid 20 minutes of the movie (if pieced all together) that only real fans like us would find humorous/actually understand the joke...

I agree with all. The Mecha Streisand episode is quite possibly my favorite 23 minuets of television ever. And yes it proves, with it's in-jokes, that Stone and Parker are fans of the genre (Who outside the fan community knows who Gamera is anyway?).
This is one of my "Must see" films, I can't wait to see some film developments!

WOW! This is fantastic! I'd love a good Kaiju movie parody, and although as much flak that SP gets sometimes I've always respected them and thought they were funny.
Team America was a great movie, and that didn't even really parody Thunderbirds at all, it just used the style. I wonder if they'll do the same thing?
