    Introduction

With the original manga series by Gosho Aoyama surpassing 107 volumes—and a cumulative worldwide circulation exceeding 270 million copies—and the TV anime series airing its 1,100th episode and beyond, the momentum of *Detective Conan* knows no bounds. Last year, the 28th theatrical installment, DETECTIVE CONAN: ONE-EYED FLASHBACK (劇場版 名探偵コナン 隻眼の残像, Gekijō-ban Meitantei Konan Ssekigan no Zanzō), achieved a box office gross of 14.74 billion yen. In doing so, it set a groundbreaking new record—a first for any Japanese film—by surpassing the 10-billion-yen mark for three consecutive years and exceeding 10 million moviegoers for two consecutive years!

Now, building upon the ever-increasing momentum of the series with each new installment, the latest theatrical feature—DETECTIVE CONAN: FALLEN ANGEL OF THE HIGHWAY has arrived!

    Story

Conan, Ran, Sonoko, and Kogoro were heading to Minato Mirai in Yokohama — the venue for the "Kanagawa Motorcycle Festival"— accompanied by the motorcycle enthusiast Masumi Sera. Suddenly, a mysterious, out-of-control "black motorcycle" appeared, leaping right over the car the group was riding in. Pursuing it was none other than Chihaya Hagiwara of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Traffic Mobile Squad—the very "Goddess of the Wind" Ran had once met.

However, following a fierce high-speed chase, Chihaya's motorcycle was wrecked, and the culprit managed to slip away just as she was on the verge of catching them.

Later, upon arriving at the festival grounds in Yokohama, Conan and his companions witnessed the unveiling of "Angel"—a police motorcycle equipped with cutting-edge technology. Amidst this event, news broke that the rogue "black motorcycle" had resurfaced—this time in central Tokyo—and had successfully outrun the Metropolitan Police Department's pursuit. The motive behind this rampage remained unknown, but upon realizing that the vehicle bore a striking resemblance to "Angel," the police dubbed it the "Black Angel"—or "Lucifer"—and continued their hunt.

Who is the culprit, and what exactly is their objective?

And why, at this particular moment, do memories of her younger brother, Kenji Hagiwara—and his academy classmate, Jinpei Matsuda—suddenly flash through Chihaya's mind?

The Goddess of the Wind (Angel) vs. The Black Fallen Angel (Lucifer)! A whirlwind, high-octane mystery battle—pushing the limits of speed to the absolute maximum—is about to begin!
