    DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA – THE MOVIE: INFINITY CASTLE Also Dominates Weekend International Box Office

    On top of taking the Number 1 spot at the North American box office, Sony Reports Crunchyroll/Sony Pictures’ DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA INFINITY CASTLE (劇場版「鬼滅の刃」無限城編, Gekijō-ban `Kimetsu no Yaiba' Mugen-jō Hen) also was the highest grossing film internationally for the weekend of September 12-14, 2025.  The movie took in $78 million in 63 international territories and $148 million globally including North America.

    DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA INFINITY CASTLE now has a massive overall global cume to date of $450,442,200 as it continues its meteoric run. The film sets a new mark for the biggest anime opening of all time with a $132.1 million weekend in Sony distributed territories as Crunchyroll/Sony expanded into North America and 49 international markets to push the studio’s global take to $177.8 million. The numbers were announced by the theatrical measurement service, Comscore. As the trusted official standard for real-time worldwide box office reporting, Comscore provides the only theater-level reporting in the world. 

    DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA INFINITY CASTLE is the first feature film in the three-part cinematic trilogy representing the final battle of the hugely popular, award-winning anime shonen series from famed animation studio ufotable.
