Tsuburaya Productions Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masayuki Nagatake) is pleased to announce that Ultraman will throw the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium, the home stadium of the Los Angeles Dodgers, on August 26, 202. Before the game begins, Ultraman will hold a photo session with fans inside the stadium. Then he take the mound with Hidetoshi Yamamoto, President and Group CEO of Tsuburaya Fields Holdings, and his longtime foe Alien Baltan to throw the first pitch.
This event is a joint project between the Dodgers and Tsuburaya Fields Holdings' U.S. affiliate, TSUBURAYA FIELDS MEDIA & PICTURES ENTERTAINMENT, INC., and will also be promoted to media outlets within the U.S. Next year marks the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman series, and its appearance on the globally popular Major League Baseball stage marks a new step in connecting fans across borders and generations through sports and pop culture. Ultraman-Themed In-Game Fancam Event
Fans will be shown striking familiar Ultraman poses, including the Spacium Ray, on the large screen during the game.
