This arrived today:
Putting my digital copy up on ebay in a little bit, but so far I love it. The discs are a pain in the ass to get out of the booklet sleeves, though I really like the way they did the packaging. On the other hand, I don't like how they crammed 13 episodes onto each Season 1 disc, but I watched "Moon of the Wolf" and it looks and sounds incredible. It's so bright and clean compared to what I'm used to seeing, and yet, it still appears natural.
I also have to say I find it funny because the two movies are the exact same discs that were sold individually, so Subzero has all of the unremastered versions of the Mr Freeze episodes on it. I do wish they had put the movie poster to MotP in the booklet where its disc is located though. Or at least had made it be one of the lenticular cards it came with. Speaking of which, the cards are pretty cool too as they seem to be 3D versions of the promo art they used back in 92 for the show (I definitely remember the Penguin one from TV Guide Magazine).
I really don't know how WB could do to improve upon this set other than giving Season 1 at least one more disc, but if you haven't bought this yet, you need to do so as it is well worth the $85 I paid. Hell, that's less than a dollar episode, and once I sell off the digital copies, I'll probably have paid around $50 for the entire series, if not less.
