MCU vs. Jaws - MCU
Halloween vs. Fast and Furious - Halloween
Alien vs. Star Trek - Alien
F13 vs. Harry Potter - F13
Star Wars vs DCU - Star Wars
Chucky vs Mission Impossible - Chucky
Indy vs Rocky - Rocky
Elm Street vs Bond - Elm Street
Not much thought required on those for me...except Elm Street vs Bond. My tiebreaker there was that I don't own any Bond movies, despite really liking some.
MCU vs Halloween - MCU
Alien vs. F13 - Alien
Star Wars vs. Chucky - Chucky
Rocky vs. Elm Street - Rocky
MCU vs Halloween was tough for me...I basically ended up using consistency as the tiebreaker. Any random MCU movie vs any random Halloween movie...you could get some STINKERS in Halloween but only one or two real foul-ups in MCU.
Star Wars vs Chucky wasn't super easy, but the reality is of the past 6 Star Wars movies, I've only thought one was out-and-out GOOD all the way through, and Chucky has only let me down once.
MCU vs Alien - Alien
Chucky vs. Rocky - Rocky
Not much thought there, honestly. I really absolutely hated Alien Covenant and don't care about the series at all anymore, but way more and higher highs there.
Rocky vs Alien - Rocky
Rocky wins. Rocky wasn't really challenged much except in Indy vs. Rocky, honestly. Yeah, Rocky 5 is poop, but so is Crystal Skull, and I went with the overall ability of Rocky to just be super watchable in ANY of the other films at ANY given point in its run time.
This would have been a much harder bracket for me with Planet of the Apes, X-Men, and probably a few others (yeah, Godzilla, but then that PROBABLY would have just won, so...) instead of Harry Potter (never seen any), Jaws (only the first is any good), Fast and Furious (none that I find worthwhile), and Mission Impossible (I don't find these to be that special, personally).
