I should'a got it the day of release. Although I'm otherwise enjoying Amazon Prime my state's postal service tends to slow down my release date delivery by one day.

^ Got mine yesterday but haven't watched it yet. Also I used a portion of my tax refund to get all the Gundam stuff I was behind on for the past year (ZZ, Victory, X, and Reconquista G) . I know they are releasing older shows now on Blu Ray, which is nice for those that already don't have them, but all I'm missing now I guess is AGE (in which I just sold my Malay copy in anticipation for a North American release) and Iron Blooded Orphans, which I would not expect until the series is actually done.

Also got a replacement Batman Beyond season 3 (for my original that had a defective Disc), and I ordered something a little different that hasn't come yet...



A couple months back, I was watching a Youtube DVD review, and this series was mentioned, and I thought little of it other than..."kinds sounds cool, obviously inspired by War of the Worlds"...then last month, I see my daughter is reading the first book for school (she is in 6th grade), I know there are several books in the series, but how odd is that? I never mentioned it to my wife or anyone...and here is my little girl reading it on her own. made me proud . Anyway...I did some research and it turns out it has only been released in the UK, but it was cheap, and I have an all-region player, so I figured why not...

^Ooooooooh... nice. I hope whenever Funi releases it we get a smattering of special features, though I'm sure Toho will want to keep a lot exclusive to their domestic release.

These finally came in for me!



Have not see "Gwangi" yet. Loved "One Million", but the one disappointing thing was that unlike the British blu-ray, I did not find Ray Harryhausen's gallery imagery for this film, including the planned brontosaurus sequence as it tangled with the rock people.

My plan was to get "The 3 Worlds of Gulliver", however with good ole Twilight Time, if you somehow miss purchasing their products during the first 60 seconds of their release, they jack up the price to ridiculous proportions. Believe it or not, "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger" (also from Twilight Time), now cost less than "Gulliver", and I got that one instead. "Sinbad" was released in Dec. 2013, but at that time, I was broke and was right in the middle of a major move. Well, patience is a virtue, and three years and three months later, I was finally able to buy it. Only "Gulliver" and "Golden Voyage" remain on my wish list.

^I imagine the two Sinbad films released by Twilight Time will either be rereleased by them after their 3 year lease on the titles runs out and they renew or it'll be scooped up by some other distributor if they a) offer more money, or b) Twilight Time isn't interested in relicensing them. The two Thunderbirds movies Twilight Time released have had their rights expire and now Kino has scooped them up for a general release.

There are also several foreign releases. The Australian set of the Sinbad trilogy and Jason is region free, for example.

This great new label Indicator is releasing all three Sinbad films in the not too distant future. Their releases have been top notch so far, so they could very well be the definitive editions. All of their Sony-licensed titles are also region free, so that's a big plus for American collectors.
