Geez, was it really over 3 years ago we talked about Galgameth? Well, I finished watching it just a few minutes ago. If you have to choose between Pulgasari and it, choose the latter. It has '90s DTV fantasy for kids written all over it (except for a bunch of swearing near the end, for some reason), but it's not excruciating and propagandist. Pulgasari's only advantages are the monster and the setting. Galgameth also doesn't run with the anti-capitalist "iron eater" message. Even though Galgameth eats iron like Pulgasari does, they don't call much attention to how it affects people's lives. The worst that happens is that people use bows and arrows instead of melee weapons. Also, the endings are completely different:
Oh, one more thing: Doug Jones plays the giant Galgameth. I thought some of you might like to know that.
