Plot or what would you like or expect to see...

I think I am pretty open to most directions the new film could take.. really i would be more likely to come up with a list like "What you would NOT like to see".. in which case "multiple Godzillas" would annoy me a lot.

Maybe it will be a sequel to 54 or mayve like Legendary it will establish that Godzilla has appeared in the past and maybe only the militaries and governments know about the creature. If they went Legendary's route it would be interesting seeing the various Chinese, USA, Russian, and Japanese militaries go toe to toe with him and have a Russian or Chinese nuke dropped on him and have him survive. Still he appears through the decades and with his appearances trilobites appear, perhaps having a symbiotic relationship with him. Perhaps the fauna that follow Godzilla (maybe for radiation or scraps from food he does eat) attract their own predator. This creature could be more agressive than Godzilla. So I could imagine a plot involving the deep web/dark web and a giant scorpion(possibly or some other predator)

I think that the discovery of the vast subsurface "oceans" discovered last year would make an interesting plot point.
Granted it's not exactly huge water filled caverns in reality but with dramatic license for the sake of the story it could be portrayed as such. The scientists could theorize that prehistoric monsters retreated to these sub crustal oceans and have lived there since. This is actually what was described in Gorgo with the subsurface oceans.

I am perplexed as to what they are going to do for this movie. Is this going to be the first time Godzilla has appeared in this story? A part of me thinks it will be a very close remake of Gojira but Toho probably made them throw another monster in.

I don't really have any expectations in plot other than maybe the tone of the movie. I'd like to see a much more disturbing Godzilla movie where the US Godzilla failed to do. (except the concept trailer) Like the US Godzilla can have a little more superhero fluff to it and the Japanese version can have all the grisly side to it.

From what we've seen so far I'm gonna make a guess that this film will be a Godzilla's first appearance and attack on Tokyo type of movie. Not guaranteed, but I haven't seen anything that suggests differently.
