Ghidrah. Ghidrah was more entertaining and engaging. DAM has a worse pacing and shallower story.

Ghidrah....ALL THE WAY. Ghidrah is more fun (for me) and is more competently made (to me).

Destroy All Monsters has more monsters, but the quality of the goings-on just isn't there. Nor is the fun factor.

I haven't seen either in several years so I'll have to judge through memory and which one made a bigger impression. I liked, but didn't love either of them, but I think I'll go with DAM. I don't have a great reason other than I remember that one significantly better than Ghidorah even though I have seen them probably the same number of times (between 3 and 4).

Great idea for this thread Gman!

The only thing missing from Ghidorah is Baragon attacking Paris.

Totally Ghidorah. DAM's climax is a technical achievement but the plot, pacing, characters, and villains are dull. So much of what it's doing has been done so much better before.

Ghidorah. It's in the top 5 vs a film that's in my top 15.

I have a soft spot for GRA, but in most respects, Biollante tops it. I vote for Biollante.

Godzilla vs. Biollante is much better than Godzilla Raids Again.

It's funny, these movies each show Godzilla fighting another monster for the first time in their respective universes. The Millennium Series really made that not such a unique thing anymore.

GRA has the best Anguirus and one of the best most physical animalis tic fights in the series but my vote goes to Biollante. It has a watchabilty factor that is a 100xs more entertaining. Also biowars...

I really do love Raids Again (specifically the insane Gigantis version), but Biollante all the way.

I really want to vote GRA because I really like it (especially with its aviation focus and the scenes that really capture the familial atmosphere working in aviation generates), and I feel like it's often under appreciated. I also think the effects scenes and monsters suits are quite well done. But Biollante is just so darn good!

It's a tough call, but Biollante gets it.

we need a double elimination tournament, so some of these films get a second chance. I'm already anticipating G'14 vs G'54 as a round 1 match.

Biollante all the way. I like some things about GRA (the lack of music at times, the weird nightmarish feel to the cinematography and odd fight scenes) but as a whole movie, it's not something I enjoy.

Meanwhile, Biollante is a top 5 Godzilla flick FOR SURE for me.

I like GRA more than most folks, and I like GvB less than most folks, but still, I've got to give this one to GvB. Just a better-made film.
