This set is awesome. The box is super fun: it's sturdy and cleverly designed, booklets, toys, press a button on the side and it plays the theme music.

It's a freakin' tragedy that they never brought back Roddy McDowall as The Bookworm.

The first season just keeps getting stronger and stronger. I feel like each story is topping the previous one.

Handy retort for when people lambast Batman '66 for deviating too far from the Batman of the comics: the first three stories, then ones that set the template for the rest of the series, are direct (and rather faithful) adaptations of Batman comics from the '50s and '60s.

I saw that! :D I'm kind of interested, honestly. It'll depend on the style of the animation of course, but I'll probably check it out for the novelty of it.

Those two will be in Dallas at the Fan Expo Convention May 29th - the 31st. Sure bet I'll be there. The 3 Godzilla suit actors will be there as well. Oh, and Carrie Fisher, Gillian Anderson, Yaphet Kotto and the list goes on.

This may be the most excited I have been for a Batman animated film since Return of the Joker.

But yeah I watched it in rerun in the 80's. I have the movie on DVD, I'd definitely watch the episodes again if they were on Netflix, I just don't want to purchase the whole series on DVD as I'm sure I'd only watch them once through.
