Wow, I didn't expect this! After Cartoon Network tried to translate a small screen to success to the big screen a decade ago and failed miserably (with the quite good Powerpuff Girls movie) I thought they'd never try the same thing again. I suppose the enormous success of the new Spongebob movie might have helped.

They have to keep the same voice cast, right? Will it be set in the show's continuity? Will the show end and be replaced by a possible movie series? So many possibilities!
