Wow, I didn't expect this! After Cartoon Network tried to translate a small screen to success to the big screen a decade ago and failed miserably (with the quite good Powerpuff Girls movie) I thought they'd never try the same thing again. I suppose the enormous success of the new Spongebob movie might have helped.

Aw, I was hoping for live action. But animated will probably work out better in the long run.
