New Godzilla Game??

I'm guessing there will be some stages/bosses like King Ghidorah here that you'll want to avoid early on then come back to later when you're bigger and more powered up then? Though the fact that this guy was able to beat him is pretty impressive. I saw one video where the guy playing it got absolutely stomped four or five times in a row, then just gave up and chose a different stage.

King Ghidorah was 100m tall, but due to limitations wth the suits, it would be really hard to go with the official stats, or can anyone imagine operating a suit 2 times the size of Godzilla? (not to mention trying to move its heads)

I would love to see Ghidorah re-imagined as literally twice Godzilla's size. Perhaps in the Legendary sequels?

Just extensively finished playing with the demo. It's not too bad at all. I've fought Mothra twice, got my butt handed to me by King Ghidorah, and also fought Showa Mechagodzilla. The kaiju battles are the best part of the game so far. Part hand to hand combat, part beam battles. Godzilla walks a little too slow for my taste, but I'm satisfied with what I've seen and played so far.

I should be getting my game hopefully Monday but I'm not sure my tracking info hasn't updated since Friday. Right now it's showing that it's in Tokyo being departed to the US so my guess is it's still on a plane or something?

A friend of mine order a copy from Play-Asia and his went from Hong Kong to Japan to China to South Korea then to Alaska.

I got mine today(Saturday). Actually got it earlier than expected, as the scheduled delivery was for Monday. Glad I went with EMS shipping.

Bought the Digital version when it came out and got my physical copy a few minutes ago. I've been playing the game for a few days now and I've unlocked most of Godzilla's abilities. The only problem I have now is upgrading his 2nd skill with defeating Jet Jaguar but I've manage to only trigger him twice in my multiple play thru. If anyone finds a way to trigger him, please help out.

What is interesting is that when you select a stage, the stage info will state which monsters are located in the stage you select. Most who owns the game haven't figure that out and I don't really seem to have the care to address it (accept here for some reason). Anyway, I've been selecting the stage that contains JJ and haven't since been able to trigger his appearances.

At the moment, my PS3 trophies collection for this game is around 80-82 %. Still needs to get the JJ trophies as well as the diorama trophies to get 100%.

They are G-reactor or G-Generator. They are pretty much an energy source that is used by humans in that world. They are suppose to be more safer than having a nuclear reactor.

One of the PS3 trophies that are on the game is "Our Jet Jaguar," which can only be obtain by encountering Jet Jaguar 3 times in a single play through. Once you defeated him the third time, you trigger a special cut screen that show case this:

Wow, that's pretty great. It's little touches like that that make me excited to play this.

As for getting Jet Jaguar to appear, I've read that to a certain degree, the monsters you encounter are (or might be, I haven't played it to know for sure) somewhat determined by how you act as Godzilla. If you play more heroic and 'Showa-like', only taking out other monsters and the G-reactors, then you get more villainous monsters appearing to counter your play style. Likewise if you play as a much more destructive Godzilla, the good-guy monsters have more chance of appearing in contrast. So I guess you could try wrecking everything in sight in hopes of increasing the chances of having him appear, though how much that's actually true I don't know, since I imagine you'd eventually wind up fighting most/all of the monsters eventually either way.

Yeah that seems pretty dumb to get mad at the game when it's an unconfirmed translation that someone got wrong. Perhaps a bit disappointed, if you were expecting something from the game that turned out not to be true, but that's why you should always take these things with a grain of salt until they're actually confirmed.

Of course saying that, if that one translation I heard about which said that playing the game gives you immediate access to a winning lottery ticket turns out to be false, I'm gonna flip some tables.

Can the military actually harm you in this game? I mean besides the mechs and super weapons. Like the jets, boats, choppers, tanks, etc. Do they really do any damage or are they more like distractions and miner hindrances to your goals?

Glad to hear that, it always kind of frustrating when games do that. I'm Godzilla, a lowly freaking tank shouldn't be able to take me out. I mean I get why, games are games and you need to take your lumps somehow but it just feels like they are cheaping out on the character doing it.

Still waiting on my copy ... But a quick question :

Is it possible to start the game as the legendary Godzilla ? I know it supposedly comes with his code, but is it hard to unlock him or figure out where to input it ?
