Seeing all those Kiryu 2003 pics makes me light up with anticipation...

I'll wait a week and if it isn't on Amazon by then, I'll bite.

http://blog.livedoor.jp/yuki030718/arch ... 36569.html <---- so someone made a custom Godzilla 68 Monsterarts. I think the head could use a bit more molding and detail, but I love that kind of effort. Could probably use a wash but its cool I think

I'm interested in Kiryu HA, but if it doesn't show up on Amazon I may not bite. Just got Gigan anyways and saving up for MKG. Naruto what do you think is the deal with Amazon not being able to pick this Bluefin USA release up? Seems like either Amazon didn't order enough or Bluefin didn't do enough to distribute this release stateside.

It's a combination of delayed shipments due to an ongoing shoremans strike negotiations and Amazon have database issues. It'll be up soon- it hasn't sold out.

G'68 is a must have but only if they release the other 10 from DAM.

It's also a lot of assumptions too :S.

A KiryuGoji Monsterarts is something I've hoped for a while. Its why I will be passing the G2K redeco, in case one is made.

It's the US longshoreman on the west coast which includes affected areas like Los Angeles where Bluefin recieves its shipments. Its not a foreign issue.

Picked this up at B&N tonight even though I really shouldn't have.

It is cool, but to be honest, I am a little lose as to the purpose of the four smaller flames. They really can't fit on any of the figure's appendages and there really isn't any place to properly fit them onto the big flames. I've found a way to get some of them to just sit there, but they don't stay on for long. Also, for some reason my imagination seems to be a little lacking right now, which sucks as I had all of these thoughts of what I could do with the flames until I actually had them in hand.

Kain, your set up makes me want to do a diorama. Right now I just have a basic set up with monsters fighting.

And I still need to open G14 and Kiryu.

And now I need to make some buildings.

Kain, if the box art is any indication, I would guess that the flames are meant to surround a figure with the bigger flames in the back and the smaller ones across the front(so that the figure can be seen). Just a guess on my part...

I finally opened my Godzilla 2014 tonight.

First, this toy really impressed me in person. I didn't notice the derpy eyes or the horrible red snout. Neither feature (eyes or the snout) are perfect, but they don't have the horrible QC issues I've seen on other G14 figures. One of the large dorsal spikes did come a little bent (easy to fix) and I had to take the head off to fix the neck gap. The lower torso piece was also slightly bent. Oddly enough, the teeth look okay but also feature a red paint. Meh.

But overall, I am really happy with him. Pictures don't do him justice, but here you go:

I also opened my Kiryu (Heavy Arms version). He has a ton of accessories and they are a little annoying to put on/take off, especially the head. But...he just looks awesome.

My B&N had 2003 Kiryu today. I was considering to get him as I had a 25% off coupon with the additional 10% for being a rewards member, but my g/f really wanted the Settlers of Catan Pirates expansion, so I gave her my coupon and passed on him. It worked out for the better though as my TRU had Legacy Titanus for $150.

Snagged Gigan off EBay with help from a coupon. I told myself I didn't like him enough to get him and his teeth were too big. I was wrong - he's actually kinda awesome.

Got my Rebirth and G2014 in today. The G2014 box was slightly damaged and seemed like the glue holding one side closed dried up or something. The figure was fine, mostly. Had a bit of a red snout but no derp eyes. The tip of the biggest fin is a little bent, but I think I can blow dry that straight (or just deal with it). Rebirth... well... the left leg popped out of it's socket as did the torso as I moved it about. I popped them back in and they feel fine now, although the right leg still feels a tad loose as well, so I might pop that out and put it back in. And it seems like Rebirth's gaps are bigger than Burning Gs, but that just might be from the loose legs (Rebirth you slut!). But from what little time I had to play with them, damn gainful employment butting into my figure playing time, they're going to be great additions to my collection. I absolutley love G2014's tail articulation so so so so much. So beats out the bendy wire of NECA's figure.

I also set up my Mothras and Battras as well. And Adult Battra's legs, or rather leg since it's only been one leg I've been having issues with, are so damn temperamental. Is there anyway to make the leg connect better without being a permanent solution. And the stands are stronger than I thought but the figures still seem wobbly on them. I so fear them fall off and breaking a wing or having a limb fly off into the oblivion of the apartment. But the larvas are just so freaking cool. Even my girlfriend who has a "that's nice dear" attitude towards my collection had to pick up "the black Mothra larva" because it look so beautiful.
