A couple people who DID work on the movie had some pre existing Godzilla art, which may be why certain pieces (Like stuff from Ace and Quach) keep getting falsley reported as "concept art"

Rather than Kong, why not dip into their own pool and bring out the Gargantuas? That movie was discussed once, as I remember. Why not dust it off and see what happens?

The only kaiju to ever exemplify true evil is Gaira. Many would argue King Ghidorah or Hedorah but niether of them share the one quality that Gaira has. He's human.

I don't think Gaira was evil necessarily, just hungry. Same with Hedorah in a way. One could say Ghidorah was only doing what came naturally to him as well.

Space Godzilla was evil. Trapping his nephew in a cage like that after tricking and firing on him.Godzilla burned him extra crispy for good reason.
Then again he made a lot of smart people sound dumb. So maybe he wasn't evil just arrogant.

Very few monsters can be called truly "evil". GMK Goji is one, though.

Interesting.... I thought that idea was dead now. Wonder if it'll go into production quicker this time with the success of G14. Would be nice if LP and WB helped fund it since he helped produce G14.

I'm not sure what's going on because I'm not at G-Fest, but apparently a new Japanese Godzilla film is in the works... Announced at G-Fest... Maybe talking about Bannos Hedorah sequel?

Honestly, with Pacific Rim and Godzilla sequels coming I don't feel the need for a Japanese Godzilla film.

It was only a matter of time before the torch was passed on to the US and see if any life was left in the genre. Apparently there is.

Godzilla will be back at Toho in 2029. That's my prediction. It's a LONG ways off, but it's just my way of thinking that Godzilla is going to become for Toho what Gamera became for Daiei/Kadokawa: only bringing him back for limited runs during special event type situations.

I wouldn't expect another Toho SERIES ever again, personally. At most a trilogy.
