Yeah, I'm kind of hesitant. The plot synopsis sounds a lot like the last film, only instead of star crossed lovers navigating through the Monsters, its two brothers... Sounds like this one might go for more of an action movie (ie what everyone b*tched that the first movie WASN'T)... Not that this is a bad way to go for a sequel (a sequel SHOULD do its own thing), it just feels kinda like they're doing it just because they feel like they have to.

I am interested in seeing the different types of monsters they say they'll have though. I'll give it a chance.

Yeah the promise of new and more monsters is the only thing of interest about this.

I feel like this movie has been in development for a pretty long time. It actually looks and sounds pretty cool though, so I'm definitely interested.

Eh... looking over some of the material out for Monsters 2... and it leaves me with a resounding "meh". The first film did not need a sequel.

Yeah, I'm not too sure about this one. Maybe the execution will surpass the concept, but I'm keeping my expectations low.
