For anybody interested, here's the music track isolated from the website:

Personally, the music sounds pretty on par of what I was expecting, but I definitely want to hear more before I judge. I hate that it sounds like it's crescendo-ing into something big just as it ends... it only makes me more curious.

I like what I hear so far. The Hans Zimmer/Remote Control influence doesn't bother me as I'm a huge fan of that particular sound. However, I don't hear that much of it in that particular clip. Plus, who knows what it's underscoring. It could be a theme or simply a piece covering some action. Ultimately, love it or hate it, it sounds like it belongs in a Godzilla film.

If anything the piece only makes me more excited and curious about the score. Looking forward to hearing it all.

Why would Toho let them use this score for this film? Bio-wars is the definitive score for Godzilla. Why ruin a good thing? The Americans are just ruining Godzilla again.

So according to a recent interview, the people who are making the mobile game used the actual design model for the film. I think it's pretty safe to say that the way Godzilla looks in the game is the most accurate rendition of him in any sort of merchandise released to date.

I was rewatching the extended trailer, and I noticed something I didn't see before. When they show those computer monitors in the background, and it says Muto 1 and Muto 2, I had originally thought they were just photos of the creatures. After watching a really high quality version of the trailer, I barely realized that it's actually footage of both monsters. The winged muto is flapping his wings, and the eight legged muto appears to be moving like most apes do: using it's forearms to carry itself forward, with it's back legs being lifted off the ground.

I'm still curious if the thing(s) have hooves (as the toys would seem to indicate)... ummm... how does that tie in to the overall geneology of the MUTOs? Are these things purely ancient beasts reawkened in modern times or have they been in some sort of stasis and subject to genetic tinkering? Are they cloned from cells a'la Jurassic Park? The design has so many bits and pieces... bat/gorilla/Graboid/Cloverfield/Starship Trooper bug/Queen alien/younameit. Very confusing, ya know? I really hope some of this is cleared up in the film.

Nice revelation on the atomic breath. I'm good with the classic beam. But I was growing on the idea of blue napalm.
