If that's Alexandre Desplat's score than I am very pleased. Its quite a bit mellower than I thought, but I think it fits the tone of the film well. I'm definitely getting a better sense of what the human drama is going to be like, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed that there wasn't that much footage of the big man himself. May can't come soon enough.

Well, we're watching the Final Four Show on TBS and they just aired one of the Godzilla TV spots. Here we go.

Man, that was soooooooo good. Wonder why they're calling it an "extended look" though and not just a trailer. Either way, hopefully it means we'll still be getting one more before release (which at this point, with all we've seen, I probably shouldn't watch; but I won't be able to look away!).

I love that the shot with the flares that we saw in the previous trailer actually starts out panning across the water flooding through the streets, then up the building as the lights go out, then follows the flares to reveal Godzilla, like you don't know he's even there until that moment. A great "oh "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!"!" reveal. This really does look better and better every time we see it.

I was starting get sad from everyone bashing the CG (which happened with pacific rim and everyone loves that CG work now) but this extended look really cheered me up! Gareth has impressed me so much. Everything seems perfect

I hope the movie dives into what type of creature the Mutos are. They're so crazy looking. Beaked mouths with teeth, red visor like eyes, 8 limbs. Crazy design.
