Well, the Toys R Us in Louisville KY on Dixie Highway had two of the giant Jakks Godzillas, and I got one of 'em, if anyone is in the area and wants to take a stab at it. In retrospect I probably should have gotten both and tried to ebay the other one, but no big deal.
I don't know if it's been mentioned already, but what is interesting is that it's clear that at some point this big guy was intended to play sound... he's got speaker grill slits right in his junk vicinity, and inside the cavity where you attach the tail is a pretty clear battery cover, but instead of a screw it's sealed up with a black plastic plug. My guess is they pulled the feature to save a few bucks on the manufacturing costs (or one of the other company's toy license gave them exclusive rights to an audio feature... I guess that's feasible).
It's still an awesome toy, but if they were gonna yank that feature I wish they'd reworked the mold for that one piece so he didn't have vertical slots in his crotch... it's like there's a midget in a traditional Godzilla rubber suit and he needs air holes to breathe...
