Gigan best Godzilla movie. Indisputable.

Just watched this as a random pull.

SO. MUCH. FUN. And really, the stock footage is only noticeable/bad when it comes to some of the stuff with Ghidrah...not even ALL of it, either, just mostly the stuff that randomly uses footage from GTTHM and Godzilla looks wildly different.

Gigan is awesome and I don't mind the stock score one little bit. The Godzilla suit is certainly worse for wear, which is a pretty big detractor.

Ultimately though the colorful characters and really good to great battle sequences make up for some of the film's shortcomings. This is certainly a top 10 film for me...maybe a top 5.

This movie would easily be in my Top 10 Godzilla movies as it's one of the ones I was most fondest of growing up watching. I first learned about the movie from that Ian Thorne Godzilla book, then when it finally aired on CDF, I was not disappointed as I badly wanted to see Gigan in action. Don't mind the stock footage too much, I like the stock music from KKE, and the characters are great. This movie might be in my Top 5.

While this movie is never in my top 5, it is one of those films that hovers in and around the 9,10 spot though. Depends upon my mood and when I revisit the films.
