So now apparently the silhouettes of the bandai figures for this movie have been leaked.

Also, am I the only one who's loving Gareth even more for him saying this:

“Since you can place CGI cameras anywhere, you tend to select impossible perspectives, and therefore quickly lose any tangible connection to the action,"

That is great.

I wouldn't mind seeing either Orga or Megaguirus again, most of the issues with those creatures was their execution and/or the dullness of the overall film which they appeared in. Saying that, I think Megaguirus would suit a Rodan film better. In addition, many of the newer Godzilla monsters were clearly meant to be one offs; how many Godzilla films has Biollante been in for example?

It's Enrish, there are Japanese characters at the bottom and I'll ask my wife it they are legit. they look it. I think we may get the thing from the trailer as an Easter Egg just for the fans if it isn't one of the two major MUTOs.

Is it just me, or does that figure look pretty scrawny compared to the bulkier photos on the back of the box? It's like a Weight-watchers version of the same design.

The posture it uses for the atomic breath would be interesting to see in the movie, but I suspect that it's been done here to facilitate what appears to be the beam piece pushing out of the mouth from being housed inside the torso. Also, it's hard to tell from the photo, but I think the flip-top head is going to look really weird in action. It's a nifty toy idea though.

There are fans already looking at the figure and believing that is exactly how Godzilla's breath will work in the movie.

With his lower jaw completely disconnected from the rest of his head and hanging onto his neck.

It's fine enough for a large gimmicky toy I wasn't likely to buy.

Given how faithful everything we've heard so far from the production has been to the original Godzilla, I have no idea why people are still freaking out over stupid little stuff like this. It's a toy. His jaw isn't going to do that in the movie.

Part of the Godzilla tradition is making new enemies for him to fight. I say make more new enemies.
