If Winsor McCay only did these instrumental pieces of early animation he'd be a legend, the fact that he was also an unparalleled genius in the realm of comics was just showing off.

I always assumed "Gertie" was from 1912, but I guess I stand corrected. Anyway, good to see that the old girl is well remembered today!
