We're getting a new Godzilla movie.

That's a reason to be happy.

When an artist I like releases a new album I'm excited and happy. I don't think: what if this album under-performs and sinks this person's career?! For all I know I'm gonna get hit by a bus next July and this is the only new Godzilla movie I'd ever be able to see. Let's just enjoy getting a new Godzilla movie without fruitlessly worrying about what it leads to.

I would kill for a Heisei-style revival. Only if Kawakita and Omori stay away, however.

So with any luck, we'll have a new Godzilla trailer by next month and hopefully they'll give us more steak and less sizzle this time around.

Btw since Malificent, Godzilla, Amazing Spiderman 2, and Xmen: Days of the Future Past are all in the same month which one(and be honest) do you truly think will earn the most. While like most of you I hope Godzilla will do the best, super hero films are generally too popular so I'm afraid X-Men and Spider-Man will take this one. However I do think if this film manages to earn enough money and attention to produce a sequel then maybe, it can become one of the film franchises that gets better as the films go on.
