The design itself is great (but yes, the Photoshopping is weak), its pretty much the same one we've already seen, so I don't know why everybody is acting so surprised.

I guess it does kinda confirm that he WILL be a tail dragger.

The news about part of the film being set in 1954 is a bigger scoop, imo, than that image.

Still have the same opinion of the new Godzilla.

Interesting. Not the best, not the worst.

I will say, this is the first real indication of how the spines look and I'm the biggest fan....they look like a bunch of pieces of glass. Also, anyone think this somehow looks like Marvel's Godzilla??

I wish the spines were bigger, but with them being so small and him being so GIGANTIC and ARMORED looking...it's kind of neat.

Also, the connection to 1954 is interesting though I kind of doubt it'll be quite like the Millennium series' and its desire to always return to that...
Maybe more like GX Megaguirus wherein it kind of is but has a bit more difference between the Showa continuity and the new continuity.
