Just saw the second teaser and it doesn't even come close to the first. It will not get people excited like just releasing the "concept" one would have. Who wants to waste time watching Olsen, Cranston and Johnson instead of Godzilla? When that first teaser leaked, you almost shook your head in disbelief, it was so good. This was was just "eh"...I could care less about guys jumping out of a plane.

But if Monsters was any indication, Edwards will pack a ton of boring "character" moments and Godzilla might make a cameo at the end if we're lucky.

Seriously bud, you saw a rough edit of the second comic con trailer and it had a bunch of monster action. I loved the halo jump and how they want the general public to realize this is not a man in suit and certainly not a big iguana that runs away and dies. For the love of Pete, let them actually release a finished product before passing judgement. Sometimes fandom just sucks because far too many people feel entitled to get what they want not realizing that if most of us, myself included, if given a chance to make our dream godzilla movie would make something WE think is cool but not would hate. And if we had to market it too? Well forget about it. Give them a chance and I think we will all win on this one.
