Yeah, I also like a heavy military theme in my Godzilla movies too. People just fighting desperately to stop Godzilla to no avail. Some do it better than other of course.

its the same Godzilla from the SDCC'12 trailer, i thought the design changed from that.

Given the description seen in the text

I have a feeling it's all the stuff from the text, but instead of the ending they saw at comic-con, it's the one we saw in the leaked teaser footage...

has me thinking it was potentially Legendary's "solution" to the Oppenheimer issue...not the most elegant thing, but this was probably intended to be their first teaser...

Well I for one was happy to see some new footage, regardless if it was a little fuzzy. I'm just shocked at how it's all leaking right now. If anyone needs proof that the marketing team is hard at work on Godzilla, here we are. The fact enough people are getting their hands on this stuff to leak it online is a clear sign.
