The trailer looks great. But I can't get over the overwhelming emotional reaction I keep seeing from certain segments of this fandom. Are there other movie sci-fi movie franchises that have fans who literally cry when they watch anticipated trailers?

Guys, what's so hard about the idea that the suits have to match the films they're in. As cool as the Bio Goji suit is (I prefer the 84 suit myself), it'd look tonally off from the movie Legendary is making.

The 96 Gamera suit is my all time favorite version of my favorite monster BUT that suit wouldn't have worked in G3. If you love the Bio Goji suit, GREAT! That means you've already found YOUR Godzilla. Now give other people, kids in particular, a chance to find that Godzilla that will define them.

Yep. Another example, I LOVE the 62 Godzilla suit....but there's no way he'd work in this movie.
