So I'm going to attempt to steer the conversation a little bit considering no side is going to budge and quite frankly I think both sides of the gill debate have shared their views in a mostly respectful and pleasant manner. So, the thing that I'm most curious about now is Aaron Taylor-Johnson. I haven't seen anything he is in and am curious if anyone more familiar with his work can give a good read on his acting ability or what he brings to the table. I mean I have been thrilled with the other casting choices so far, but he seems like a wild card. Any thoughts?

The only thing I've seen him in is Kick-Ass, and he was fine in it. Like most things associated with this movie so far, about all I can say is, "I have no particular objection."

Kick Ass is about as vanilla as a character can get. If you wanna see Johnson give a real performance check out his turn as Lennon in Nowhere Boy.

I hear if you punch Godzilla in the gills he will go away.

If they don't make his heat ray/breath blue, will that be a big issue with any of you? I personally don't care if it is white/blue/orange as long as he has it.

Godzilla's skin became green, his spikes purple and his heat ray red instead of blue.

GMK:
Godzilla got white eyes, a big beer belly and became an evil entity composed of the souls of dead WWII soldiers.

Legendary Godzilla:
Looks like Godzilla but (supposedly...maybe) has gills. Why is there a problem with this? :mrgreen:

I, for one, demand that the word filter replace "gills" with "phalluses" or "multitude of phalluses." It's crude, but this whole debate is an exercise in comedy anyway.
