I'm SORT OF on two minds on this:

1.) Given how absolutely horrified by himself and the bomb Oppenheimer was, it makes sense that he would have and his family does feel off-put by a tearful, emotional speech being used to promote a monster movie that looks to profit off of an exploitation of nuclear power. Sure the message of the movie might be that nuclear power is bad if used irresponsibly, but the simple, straight fact is it's a movie looking to use something he said out of the sorrow over what he'd done to sell tickets.

2.) Screw 'em. Movies do this all the time, and I don't really see how this is something over which his family could possibly have control and ownership.

No, not at all. I get your opinion, and I have no problem with it. Hollywood is a money machine, and it does use anything it can to sell products, regardless of who they piss off. I'm kind of on the fence about it still; in other words, I'm agreeing with both parties.

What I don't like, and have never liked, on the internet or in real-life for that matter, is that "I don't give a damn what anybody else thinks," sh*tass attitude. It's totally uncalled for, especially when it's at the expense of someone else's grief, and it says a lot more about the intelligence of the person making the statement than it does reinforce the opinion itself.
