Man, that's rough. All I can say is to enjoy the time you have left with her.

My grandma died a few days ago. First person really close to me to have died in my 25 years. I suppose I'm rather lucky in that regard. It feels so strange. I'm not sure it's hit me yet.

Woke up really sick today so I ended up calling into work sick only the second time I've done so. Not sure what's going on but if I'm not better tomorrow i'm going to the doctors.

i f*cking love getting chewed out over the phone when i'm not at work (at 10PM) for having an error on a proposal when this same client has CONSISTENTLY had errors on their own RFPs. How consistently? 10% of the time. 10% of the 268 proposals I've done for them have had revisions due to errors on their part whether from typos, leaving off a specification, or adding something later on that really should have been asked for in the first place.

and yet, I'M to blame for getting something wrong (annular excess) that they've changed so many times over their 268 requests, it's impossible to keep track of....and the lead engineer (my own company's lead engineer, not the customer's) wants to ACT like what they wanted THIS TIME is "standard"???

F*ck you pal. f*ck you. thanks for ratting me out to my manager too, f*ckwad. nice to know we're on the same f*cking team. you better hope you NEVER make a mistake on something we work on together, or I'm going to f*cking bury you.

Dude, I hate when sh*t like that happens. At my job, customers attempt to throw the staff under the bus on a regular basis... luckily, management has our backs most of the time.

Although this does explain your crankiness in the Guardians of the Galaxy thread

not a customer throwing me under the bus...someone from my own company.

customer complained to him, and while i get that you need to appease the CUSTOMER and you can tell them that i screwed up and it's all my fault, you don't need to turn around and rat me out to my manager too...that's just f*cking weak.

honestly not sure what's gonna happen from here, because i work with this guy on a daily basis, but right now i just want to gouge his eyes out and urinate in his skull. it's complete bullsh*t...if you've got a problem with me, say, "hey man, the customer called today and complained and i was on the phone with them for like half an hour, we need to button this down for real"

then I can tell you "dude, they f*ck up CONSTANTLY...they never ask for the same thing twice and now they want to act like they have a 'standard operating procedure'? that's crap"

then you can say, "well then, just start asking them. if they don't specify something or ask for it, ask them what they want, then it can be all on them."

you don't have to turn around and tattle on me. f*cking prick.

So this month has mostly been in the sh*tter.

My girlfriend starts feeling ill on the first and just got worse. She wanted to go to the ER right away but I convinced her that a stop at an urgent care center would be better. In hindsight she may have been right, but I just might be beating myself up about it. They tell her it’s a virus.

The pain persists and we go to her Doc, who seemed to specialize in wait-and-see with a minor in “painkillers are for wussies and addictsâ€

Today everything that could go wrond did go wrong.

I've been letting my best friend use my car to get back and fourth to school as well as take his step son to his dads. Well today his mom was supposed to pick me up before work so I could get there. She shows up at 4:15pm and I'm supposed to be to work at 4:30 and I live about 20 minutes away from where I work so yeah needless to say I was about 10 minutes late to work today. Then I had a bad day at work mainly because I was pissed off about being late I'm the type of person who likes to clock in 5-10 minutes early so yeah.

Every person I was nice to the past six or seven months has pretty much screwed me over, I'm so sick of bending over backwards to help people out and it biting me in the ass.
