So the kaijucast has a pretty incredible tumblr (http://kaijucast.tumblr.com/) that is like its own "cool pictures thread"... but this post which i had never seen before hurt me with how awesome it is!

Well, I would imagine the extra-diegetic reason came down to something along the lines of, "I dunno, we gotta do somethin'..."
