Rules for this week are simple, pick one Ultra kaiju, your favorite perhaps, and post pics of all the figures you have of that particular kaiju.

For me, I'm starting with the first Ultra kaiju ever and one of my favorites...Gomess!!!

First off, my Ultra Q shelf, with Gomess at the center..

And secondly, my Gomess shelf...

Too lazy to post them all together in better light, but for now, you get the idea I hope.

i grimaced when i saw Ultra in the title because i didn't think i had any... but then i remembered that i had the Bandai Tsuburaya HG Series, which has 3 Ultra characters in it! Hurray for gashapon!

Garamon has always been one of my favorite Ultra kaiju!

I'd recommend the Ultra Q set that came out last year from Bandai which you can still find relatively cheaply (under 100 bucks) on Yahoo Auctions. Well crafted figures that are actually hand painted. I don't think you'll find a better Garamon/Pigmon then the one in that set.

Unfortunately I don't own any non-Ultraman Ultraman kaiju.

I have only ever completed watching Ultraman(many times) and Ultraman Tiga(once). Still need to finish UltraSeven. However, I know my favorite kaiju will be from the original Ultraman because that's where my love of Ultraman originated. So I go through the Monster Encyclopedia extra on the dvds to see if I can find one kaiju to talk about so I can participate in the spotlight experiment. I was all ready to either pick Woo, but then found Jamila which is a monster design that still kind of freaks me out(in a cool way). I was ready to make a screen cap, but then found this!

So that's my contribution.

Did they ever make a figure?
