Hopefully I'm not alone when I say that the best Godzilla scores involve lots of bombastic brass and tremolo violin, military marches, and tribal themes. I can only hope that the composer for the upcoming film will work with some of the sounds/ideas used by Ifukube. The music is one of the major identifiable features of the majority of the Godzilla films (can't say all as the millennium films don't have many themes that stood out to me, besides maybe GMK).

They should get Gerard K. Marino, Ron Fish, Mike Reagan and Cris Velasco to do the score. Those guys composed almost all of the God of War series, and those scores are extremely epic!

it's not terrible as the framework for something better...but it reminded me of Resident Evil on PS1.
