I watched The Amazing Colossal Man last night. I liked it; the story was a bit predictable, but fun overall. The end kind of stunk, though.

Does anybody else think that those old fifties monster movies have a lot of cop-out endings? Like the director just said, "Okay guys, we gotta end this now; just kill the monster and roll the credits." :lol:

Via Netflix DVD service:

Season of the Witch (kinda taking a break from the anime stuff due to some annoying waits on some stuff).

Not that bad, it was better than I expected it to be after seeing the previews at the theater. Nick Cage & Ron Perlman did a good job playing former Crusaders. It also gave a glimpse of the sheer madness & stupidity of the Crusades themselves. Plus a good showing of how much influence & power the church had. Also it showed a pretty decent journey & had pretty decent effects. I say it's worth at least a rental, if you have never seen it.

Up next will be Winnie The Pooh (most recent movie).
Which I hope to watch today (after work).

I dunno Live and Let Die thru Moonraker are among the campiest and weirdest entries. Moore's stuff became less absurd after Moonraker, but those films suffered from an old man Bond running around trying to save the day. (Amongst other problems). The Man With The Golden Gun, as I recall it, is a lot of fun, but is outshone by The Spy Who Loved Me. Honestly I think Moonraker is when the Moore stuff started sliding down hill.
