Lol it's cool man. You gave it a chance. It's not a very "Hulk" like Hulk film. Kind of like Batman Returns is to Batman.

I think it's probably not as good as I'm remembering. I think I just ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would because I hated it so much the first time I saw it.

My favorite Banner is still Bixby and my favorite Hulk is from The Avengers.

BTW...are you guys gonna do a super hero podcast ep eventually? Maybe just a run through of all the super hero movies you've liked so far or something?? Just a thought.

The worst part is, when something like that happens in the musical world, you can just pick and choose...in the film world, editing together the best bits of Raimi's spidey and the new Spidey would be incongruous at best.

Over Christmas and my birthday I acquired about... hmmm... 17 DVD/Blu Ray purchases which I have not watched. Most of these are multi-film sets, too. So I have a lot of watching. First, I go back to my Laurel and Hardy set from last year...

Beau Hunks

Is this Laurel and Hardy film a short or a feature? At about 40 minutes long it's somewhere in between. It was basically remade twice by them as the features Bonnie Scotland and The Flying Deuces. This one is better then both of those: the boys were better with shorter running times and a concentration on how all the gags fit together without worrying about a storyline.

Just saw "Let the Bullets Fly" this afternoon. A fun flick with Chow Yun-Fat. Its available from Netflix. Anyone else catch this?

The Big Year With Steve Martin, Jack Black, and Owen Wilson. Three amateur bird watchers (birders) compete to become the ultimate birder by spotting the greatest number of species within a single calendar year.

I thoroughly enjoyed this comedic journey across the States punctuated by some very nice shots of the landscape of America. It's sweet and funny and I recommend it.
