The Ang Lee Hulk is one of those movies where for every thing they get VERY right, they get 5 more things VERY wrong.
The Norton film might be more action driven, but at least it remained consistently fun and consistently good and never got its head stuck so far up its own ass that it lost all meaning.
Ang Lee's film was a film maker with (at his own admission) no love, attachment, familiarity, or even any real CARE for the character, so he super-glued a bunch of psychobabble to it in an attempt to make it more interesting for HIM (not the audience, unfortunately). It was a bored film maker working with something he didn't care about trying to keep himself amused, and it often feels that way. Not to mention, things like Hulk dogs and Absorbing Dad are just terrible ideas (executed terribly, no less)
