I wonder how and why they're so cheap? Look at what we're going to pay for the upcoming Godzilla BD's.

Its just the way Mill Creek does business. They buy the rights to things for cheap and release them cheap. I doubt they even HAVE enough money to get the rights to something like Godzilla, whose rights are MUCH more expensive than, say, Gamera or He-Man or Ernest. That's the kind of thing they thrive on. They are pretty much what's called a "budget" or "bargain" label, which is also why they release so many public domain titles. Media Blasters are more of a specialty label, so they are willing to dish out the money for something like Godzilla.

DeepDiscount seems to have the trilogy set at the cheapest price online. I just ordered my copy, and although it says it won't ship for 5-10 more days I'm fine with waiting. (I already have the previous version that was released on DVD.)

I think I've been hit by the backorder, since I only put in my order last weekend and I haven't seen a shipping email yet. I don't care too much though. It gets here when it gets here.

EDIT: Nevermind, I JUST got the email. :lol:

Super Saver shipping will probably have it here by the middle/end of next week.
