Finally got to read issue five and it looks like the story is finally going somewhere, which has rekindled my interest in this series. I can't believe that it took them five issues to tell as little as they have. Has me thinking they should have told the events in flashback in order to let the readers know right off the bat that this story is leading somewhere and isn't just some excuse for someone to spew their social commentary while giant monsters wander around in it. Now it's starting to remind me of Stephen King's The Stand, and that's a good thing.

Hester vs Santos art? For me Santos is better than Hester. Santos at least shows some details in the backgrounds (not enough though) whereas Hester would have you believe that the whole story is going down in a world where everyone has one monochrome shade of color behind them at all times. Also Santos's cartoony style shows more movement and action than Hester's more static style. Anyone know who's next up to take over interior art on this series?
