The Basics: The Patrol investigates a series of disturbing bus accidents.
The Plot: Alien abduction...and it more or less works. Only weirdness was why they made the woman come off so sinister. I guess she was supposed to be a red herring. Episode explains little, but in this one it helps make the Dada seem more mysterious...so can't fault it here.
The Kaiju: I like the Dada. Their power set (invisibility and phasing) comes off more supernatural than scientific and makes them seem stranger and more menacing for it. I'm not really sure what the point behind the changing Dada faces(as it's implied there is but a single Dada) was. Maybe to confuse and intimidate enemies, but given that the race seems scientific in nature..seems unlikely. Still...can't argue with the look. Maybe not an iconic Ultraman seijin, but certainly close.
The Acting: Cap. Muramatsu carries this one solo, which is fine as he's probably the best actor of the bunch. The woman(not familiar with the actress) was also fine in her limited role.
The SPFX: Decent. No real miniature work, but the opticals and camera tricks used to create the Dada's powers are good as is.
The Other Stuff: Wonder what the Dada wanted the test subjects for? The dialogue also suggests that the Dada were plenty familiar with Ultraman(or more likely in hindsight...Ultras in general). The Dada seem to be pretty poor fighters(Ultraman easily outfights the one in this episode).
