If I was into kits, statues and Trendmasters my collection would probably look a lot like that. I almost posted "What, no Marmits?!" before I actually spotted a few of them hiding in there. This is motivating me to finish my own collection room.

But what's with the three TVs/computer monitors?

So cool Heisei! So many things to look at! Every time I look at them again I see something different. Great job!

Awesome stuff as always Hesei!! This is going to be hard to beat. lol

Can't wait to move the rest of my collection over and set up the display. Still looking for some reasonably priced shelves or glass curios. Anyone got suggestions? I saw a few at Ikea () but am looking for something to go across the whole wall)

I like the new metal shelves I bought. When you get them deeper, pretty much anything fits on them too. I think mine are 24" deep. They are 6' high, 4' wide and 24" deep and I believe they were $60 at Home depot. Not the prettiest things to look at but they work great.

Wow, thanks for all the positive feedback. It's really encouraging!

And yeah, my Marmit collection is rather limited. There are a few more in the bedroom, but I'm really picky on which ones I go for - meaning not many.
As to the 3 screens, they have become something of a necessity for me in programming and media editing. And it's pretty useful to have a virtual machine and several shells set aside on one monitor (usually the right) while I'm free to work or play on the left.
Actually, I was planning on adding an LED HDTV to the left of the screens to integrate into the home theater system, but there are no sub-32" 1080p sets available, now. I didn't pay enough attention to Samsung's CES lineup, so I may yet do that.

As to shelving choice, it was a difficult balancing act. I had cost, size, and look to consider. I was lucky to find what I did. The desk is Staples, the shelf to the right is Pottery Barn (of course the most expensive f***ing piece in there), and the rest is home theater furniture off Amazon.
It's quite difficult to find decent-looking deep furniture, especially with the rise of flatscreens.

To GForever, all I can think of is DIY. Sucks, but that may well be the best bet.

I would used unfinished cabinets and wood rather than melamine. You have a lot more freedom to do what you like.
You can get away with deeper shelves by cutting sheets of 3/4" plywood (you're looking at $35-60 per sheet). You can also make them a lot wider (30" per shelf support is usually considered the max) by using 5/4" boards from Lowes. They are 2' by 4'. If you want anything wider, you're going to need to make them yourself. I used the 5/4 boards for shelves for some of my snakes and my movable (up or down with pegs) bookshelves. They are VERY strong and stain quite well. Maybe I'll post pictures of that, next :D

Well, thanks again for all the kind (and sometimes dirty  ) words. Hopefully I can get something similar when I take pictures of the rest of the place which shows off my carpentry skills (or lack thereof).

Here's what my collection room currently looks like. It's outgrown the room it's in and is currently waiting to be moved into a different room, which it will once I have it carpeted.

My reaction when seeing both of your titular collections! -->
Honestly great displays. Especially yours Hesei. BUT i do need to ask....with such large valuable collections, do you guys have any protection plans, aka insurance should the "unthinkable" happen to your house or home. Be it fire, flooding, or theft?

Gives me the worries for my own collection of stuff Godzilla and not as i collect more items over the years.

Could God himself microwave a burrito so hot that not even he could eat it?
