I went to the RAMS/49ers game last weekend (on vacation in America with my family). Nothing is more satisfying than watching the RAMS end their arch rival forty-whiners season and send that team into utter chaos. I hate the Whiners more than any other team (RAMS should have beaten them in the 23-20 OT loss/debacle back in Nov. at Candlestick), so that victory was the perfect revenge. I hope the 49ers go into rebuilding and don't recover for a *long* time. :turnbad:
Now, regarding the playoffs...
Before this season started, I would have asked you how many bottles of scotch you guzzled and admitted you to an insane asylum if you told me that my lowly RAMS would have a chance to win the NFC West in the final game. What an amazing season. And please, spare me the "the NFC West sucks, this is the worst division in history, other teams are more deserving, blah blah blah".....all of that may be true. Nevertheless, this is a team that went 1-15 last year, and only won 6-42 over the last 3 seasons. Their weak division does not diminish how much they have accomplished this year (rookie QB, absolutely *NO* WRs or any offensive weapons-sans Stephen Jackson). Spags probably won't be a Coach of the Year Candidate on anyone's list....but there's no doubt in St. Louis that he is.
And yes, I know they're probably
1 and done in the playoffs (they don't have the offensive firepower to keep up with New Orleans or Atlanta), but I do think they will put up a better fight against those teams than some might expect...RAMS' Defense is very underrated).
Now, today's game should be interesting. If this game was in St. Louis, I would have total confidence that the RAMS would crush the Seastarlings (just like they did earlier in the season)....however, it's in Seattle.

While I think the RAMS are the superior team, their road woes in Seattle over the years makes this game complete toss up. Very excited (and nervous) about this game.
:7sam:
Anyways, here are my predictions after today:
NFC1st seed: Falcons
2nd seed: Bears
3rd seed: Eagles
4th seed: Rams
5th seed: Saints
6th seed: Packers (though the Giants could sneak in there if both Pack and Bucs lose and the Giants win).
AFC1st seed: Patriots
2nd seed: Baltimore (I am predicting that the Browns will upset the Steelers in Cleveland...Steelers haven't been playing that well recently).
3rd seed: Colts (Again, I think the Raiders, who are undefeated in their division, will upset the Chiefs, and the Colts will win against the Titans, giving them the 3rd seed).
4th seed: Chiefs
5th seed: Jets
6th seed: Steelers
1st round:
NFC
Saints def. RAMS in a game far closer than most would imagine (RAMS' D is very underrated), but in the end, the RAMS are too young and lack the offensive fire power to keep up and lose it late.
Packers def. Eagles - I think someone should tell M. Vick that Cinderella wants her slippers back...the clock is about to strike midnight.
AFC
Steelers def. Colts
Chiefs def. Jets
2nd round:
NFC
Falcons def. Packers
Saints def. Bears
AFC
Patriots def. Steelers
Ravens def. Chiefs
NFC Championship:
Falcons def. Saints
AFC Championship:
Ravens def. Patriots (the Ravens match up better with the Patriots than any other team in the playoffs and are not intimidated by playing @ New England...I think they upset 'em).
Superbowl: Ravens def. Falcons (They avenge their close loss in Atlanta earlier this year).
