See if this works, I threw the picture into paint....photoshop not available at work so forgive the crudeness. Removed the webbing, bobbed the face a bit, added mass to the upper and lower jaw, shortened the lower jaw and moved the eye back while adding size to the brow. Probably lengthen the fingers a bit, but it was a quick edit.
